I get many comments and DMs about how I edit my photos. And let me just say I’m no expert on editing. I’m still learning so much. But I know how hard it is when you’re starting out and spending hours researching on how to edit.
I use to do this moody look which was pretty easy. I love using the VSCO app for a quick editing tool. And I think you will too!
I used to use A6 as well which was brighter look. See below
After applying the preset I play around with the exposure to brighten the photo and sharpen just a bit. I was adding a grainy look for awhile which I really like and might do again in the fall.
Another app I used a lot was Snapseed. Great editing to fix or remove things in the background. You can also use Facetune for that as well.
I decided to change my feed for a brighter summer pop. I’ve heard great things about Lightroom and using presets. I haven’t bought the desktop version yet, that’s next! But for now I downloaded the free iPhone app and finally purchased a few to try. You can play around with it but I definitely recommend investing in presets. I did a google search and found some on Etsy. You can also search #presets hashtag on Insta.
See my new editing look below.
I still have to play around with it to get the look I’m going for. It will take some time but once you get the hang of it will be easy!
I get a lot of questions on what I use to take my photos. Most of my posts are with my IPhone 8. When I use my camera it’s my Canon Rebel T6. I love this camera but still learning a lot.
You can watch how I edit my photos in the videos below.
My favorite apps right now:
