DC Fashion Week 2018 in Review

DC Fashion Week in Review. If you missed it or interested in attending next season check out their schedule of events that kept people buzzing about DC Fashion.

Wednesday: Media Preview

We attended Media preview night that was located in Crystal City, Double Tree Hotel.

We were so excited to see what all the hype was about. It was wonderful to see designers and emerging designers show their work of art. They had everything from swimwear to plus size to children’s couture.

Fashion is a form of expression and we definitely saw that during media night.

Thursday: DC Fashion Week Fashion Industry Networking Party with NextGen Designers.

A large networking party where you could meet models and designers. They had pop shops as well. This event was hosted at The Living Room DC.

Friday:DC Fashion Week at Madame Tussaud Wax Museum

This event was sold out and I can see why! It was at Madame Tussaud’s Wax Museum. How fun is that?! It was a red carpet event featuring designer, Ean Williams.

Saturday: (M.E.D.I.A.) Metropolitan Emerging Designers Showcase & Indie Artists Presented by Sprite.

Saturday was back at the Double Tree Hotel featuring emerging fashion designers from United States.

Sunday: The Grand Finale

This event was hosted at the Embassy of France. They had champagne toast and Buffett. The fashion show featured International Fashion Designers and US based designers.

I loved ModCloth, a vintage line that is made for every women. They are new to the DC area.

Ellen London, she uses textiles from all over the world, creating her own work of art.

Sierra Mitchell- A California based Fashion  Designer. I felt the 70’s glam come through in this line.

Check out the full list of designers here.

It was great seeing emerging Fashion Designers  takeover DC and the talented Designers that showcased at the Grand Finale. This is definitely an event you don’t want to miss. Tickets sell out fast!

Thank you for having me DC Fashion Week.
