Holiday Traditions//Treetopia Christmas Trees

This is my favorite time of year!  It is a season that brings so much joy, laughter and love into our lives. I love Christmas traditions. As a kid we’d always go pick a fresh tree and I continued that tradition as an adult. Although, for some time now I’ve been wanting an artificial tree and to start new traditions with my family.

So I was super excited to get my wish this year —a flocked Christmas tree.

I love this Christmas tree from Treetopia! It’s so gorgeous and easy to put together. I couldn’t wait (naturally) for Eric to get home, so I did all by myself. It was delivered right to my front door and it  had 4 simple pieces to put together. The base and 3 parts for the tree. You just had to insert, plug in the lights, and within minutes you have this beautiful Flocked PreLit Christmas tree.

I thought a flocked tree would be perfect as it already looks gorgeous on its own. Having a toddler that loves too touch everything would be difficult with my previous Christmas decor. So we decided to keep it light and simple this year. Also, I kept them away from the bottom of the tree. These Christmas ornaments are shatter resistant (perfect for toddlers in the house) from Target. I love the colors- silver, gold and blush pink. A great skirt option is this Pottery Barn blanket or pillows. I added both to my tree. Also, I’ve been seeing really cute baskets like this one here.

Another one of our Christmas traditions are matching PJs. I don’t know how much longer the older kids will  be into it. So this year we all got these cute PJ’s from Lazy one.

They are perfect for your Christmas cards and such a sweet memory. I love Christmas traditions because they are beautiful memories that you will have with your children and ones that they will carry on with their children.

We also love decorating the tree together! And of course bake cookies, make hot cocoa, and watch classic Christmas movies with the kids. Chloe has been enjoying all the festive fun happening early this year. Which makes this Holiday even sweeter. This year since Chloe is older I want to do Breakfast with Santa, I think I am already too late for Train Ride with Santa (next year!). We always do light show with the kids as well.
