Thank you Allstate for sponsoring this post. I chose to write this post because doing good in local communities is at Allstate’s core.
I was excited to be a part of Allstate’s campaign, The Future is In Good Hands because this campaign is about nurturing our children’s innate compassion to make a difference. Allstate’s sustainability
I was happy to learn about Allstate’s commitment to their communities- it is core to who they are! Allstate has a strong local presence. It is there commitment to bring prosperity, safety and well being to their communities. Funds from Allstate Foundation and donations from their employees help make a difference in communities around the country as well.
Allstate believes that our young children can make a positive impact in our communities. They inspire our young children through community projects to empower them to become the next generation of leaders. How amazing is that?
This was a great way to spark a conversation with our children. I believe it’s never too young to start nurturing the innate compassion of our children, to empower them to be resilient leaders of the future. When we talked about making a difference in our community she mentioned that it could be as simple as being kind. And she’s right! Making a difference doesn’t mean something big. It can be as small as a smile.
We watched this video that sparked a conversation with our young leaders. It’s so important to ignite that fire in our future young leaders! This helps to nurture and strengthen the positive assets of our children. When talking to our children it’s important to remind them that it doesn’t matter how big or how small the change is. It is just important that they are starting somewhere to make a positive impact in their communities even if that means showing kindness. When I continued to talk to Sophia to ask her about Kindness and how it helps impact our communities she said, ” When you spread happiness and love it can make the world a better place” and she couldn’t be more right!
Allstate has no doubt that our young children are not just dreaming about change, but creating the change right here, right now! I loved watching this video with the children because it showed them that by lending hands and voices to be heard in their communities that they too can make a difference. In this video you can see that they are also building important social and emotional learning skills that will help aid in their future success to be resilient leaders. This was such a powerful video to watch and I encourage you to watch with your children as well. It’s time to spark a conversation and let our children know that they are not too small to make a powerful difference in their communities. I love companies like Allstate that believe and help inspire our children.
I love this campaign because it’s so important for this conversation to start at home. We can empower them to create positive change in our communities and the world. We are the gateway to self-confidence, compassion and leadership in our children. Remember they are always listening, so lets show them by example. I’m so excited to take all 3 kids -Sophia 12, Brandon 14 and Chloe 2 to help pack and distribute presents to children that will not have gifts this holiday season, right here in our community.
Learn more about what Allstate is doing in local communities. And remember to watch this powerful video with your children to ignite that fire today.
