I wanted to share a little more about our stay at The Inn at the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club.
It was prefect little mini babymoon! Eric and I plan on taking a few more before baby arrives. We wanted to travel to Florida, but I was so sick I had to cancel this summer. And now that I am feeling better I feel its too late to travel by plane. I love that Maryland, Virginia, and DC area is filled with so many amazing places for great local staycations. We decided we wanted to by by the water, so the Eastern Shore of Maryland was a great choice!
A Babymoon is meant for relaxation, early bedtimes, eating delicious food, and a time to reconnect with your partner (esp if you already have kids). The Inn at the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club was the perfect destination for us. It is located in Stevensville, on Maryland’s beautiful Eastern Shore. The Inn has 77 rooms, suites and cottages, full service spa and salon, and more than 30,000 sq. ft of meeting and event space. The grounds include gardens, courtyards, fire pits, fountains, activity lawns, and greenhouses. The Inn was designed with an American farm inspiration and it can be seen throughout the Inn. I would describe it as industrial chic meets sleek farmhouse style. We loved the Barn rooms which is where we stayed. The barn is a newer addition to help accommodate their increasing guests. It was an amazing way to kick off our babymoon!
The Inn also offers an amazing culinary experience led by Executive Chef Paul Shiley. Knoxie’s is a farm-and-to-table restaurant which uses ingredients from the Garden and greenhouses, as well as from local famers. The menu includes seasonal dishes that are prepared with the local ingredients. The restaurant seats 150 and features table and booth seating, a bar, and a garden terrace, which is super cozy outdoor dining experience. This restaurant is a must if you’re in the area as well!

We had the best time, relaxing, eating our hearts out, and I got to try their wellness and relaxation spa. It was such a treat! I had their signature facial which includes a neck, shoulder, back, and foot massage. There are a few cozy corners to relax before and after your appointment, complete with lemon water, snacks and relaxing vibes. They also have a sauna you can use after your treatment.

Until next time!
