As a parent, you want to do everything to protect and help your baby. That’s why I am choosing Evivo to help protect Mila’s gut health.
Baby probiotics are a great way to protect your baby’s gut health.
As a parent you naturally want to protect and care for your baby. You want to ensure they get the very best to help them grow happy & healthy. What you aren’t told as a new parent is that your baby can suffer from gut health issues from birth. A healthy gut is the foundation for a happy & healthy child. That’s why probiotics are incredibly important for your baby, especially in their first 6 months. Bad bacteria is linked to a higher risk of autoimmune and metabolic issues like, colic, eczema, allergies, diabetes, fussiness, gas, diaper rash, and obesity.
If your baby’s gut microbiome has high levels of bad bacteria and low levels of protective bacteria, intestinal inflammation can occur. Signs your baby is suffering from inflammation include gassiness, discomfort, bloated tummy, and fussiness. If your baby is suffering from inflammation it can lead to colic. If you are not familiar with a colicky baby, it is one of the most dreaded experiences, and is hard on baby and parents because of the nonstop crying and lack of sleep. Colic can derive from a number of reasons, like an immature digestive system and types of bacteria found in baby’s digestive tract. One of the best ways to help end colic is to restore the good bacteria, B infantis, in your baby’s gut.
I wish I learned about Evivo sooner! As a new mom, I had no idea that babies could suffer from gas issues or even what colic was. We got lucky with Chloe because we really didn’t see any issues, so we never bothered to do any research about probiotics. We didn’t get so lucky with Mila. When she came home we noticed she had a lot of inflammation. She was very gassy and fussy. She suffered colic symptoms and was very uncomfortable.
Mila struggled to feed from day one. She would cry and cry no matter what I tried. We took turns rocking her. I would hand express prior to feeding her and take turns burping her but nothing helped. It was taking a toll on me. My postpartum depression wasn’t helping. I dreaded feeding her, because she was in so much pain. It broke my heart to see her so uncomfortable. I’m sure as a parent many of you can relate. We had been researching what to do and also spoke to our pediatrician. The first thing that our pediatrician told us was that this was very common in babies and that she needed probiotics.
We were so happy to learn about Evivo. Along with using Evivo, we do daily exercises to help relieve her bloating and gas issues. We are happy to report that we have a much happier baby! In just one week we have noticed significant changes. Mila is sleeping better than ever. We even got two nights of 9 hour sleep recently. Can I get a Hallelujah! Mila has less bloating and inflammation which is making her less fussy. A recent survey given to moms who gave Evivo to their babies reported that 65% of moms said there was a decrease in colic symptoms, such as gassiness and fussiness. Also, after giving baby Evivo, 52% noticed baby’s nighttime sleep is longer/more consistent.
How to use Evivo
Pour one packet in a little bowl and mix with 3-5 ML of breast milk or formula. I typically hand express or you can even use a Hakka during your first morning feed. You want to give it to your baby immediately after mixing.
I push a little at a time, from the syringe, to ensure she doesn’t spit it out. She always takes it pretty well.
Evivo is free of artificial flavors, additives, artificial colors, artificial preservatives, and is gluten free. It contains lactose, which is the main sugar found in breast milk, and activated B. infantis EVC001. That’s why Evivo should be stored in your freezer. You can also store it in your refrigerator for up to one month.
Why I choose Evivo
Giving your baby the right probiotic can be one of the most important ways to protect your baby’s short and long term health. I wish I had known this sooner. Although Chloe didn’t suffer from colic or gas issues, she did suffer from eczema and still does to this day. A myth is that baby probiotics are only needed when symptoms appear, but probiotics are not just for fixing symptomatic conditions. What I didn’t know then was that your baby’s gut health is critical to their overall health. Giving your baby probiotics will help your baby have a balanced gut microbiome. It can boost their immune system, improve digestion, ease colic and reflux, clear up skin problems and reduce risk of obesity. Evivo is the only probiotic clinically proven to repopulate baby’s gut with the good bacteria they are missing 100% of the time.
When your baby has good bacteria in the gut, it will create a strong, protective wall and push out the bad bacteria. As our pediatrician mentioned, this is very common in babies. Today 9 out of 10 babies are experiencing issues with their gut. One of our pediatricians told us that our baby will outgrow this without changing her diet, but this is a myth. The truth is it’s super important to give your baby a probiotic in the first 6 months to promote the development of a healthy immune system. You want to make sure your baby is set up from day 1 with the good gut bacteria needed with Evivo. Only Evivo contains B. infantis EVC001, a proprietary strain that is clinically proven to create a protective environment in your baby’s gut. This strain protects babies from the harmful effects of gut pathogens and helps to ensure baby’s short and long-term health.
Some people believe that there is not enough science to prove probiotics are really helpful. Recently a mom told me that she believed breast milk was the cause of gut health issues her baby was having, so she just switched to formula. It is so important to do your research and learn more about the benefits of using probiotics. Evivo is the result of over a decade of research and clinical trials studying the importance of B. infantis in the gut, and the many benefits it provides to baby’s gut health. Evivo is recommended by top pediatricians, lactation consultants, and parents!
I definitely encourage you to do your research and learn more about Evivo. Also, speak to your pediatrician before adding anything to your baby’s diet. We have been loving Evivo and are so thankful it’s helping keep our baby happy & healthy.
